About “Living Abundantly – Walking In Faith: Lessons About The Christian Faith”
Is the Bible a reliable source of truth? How do I deal with the problem of sin? How do I pray? What does God’s Grace look like in my everyday life? How does my work fit into God’s plan?
For those seeking answers, the author covers the fundamentals of Christianity – including Jesus’ life, teaching, death, and resurrection plus God’s grace (His love), His forgiveness, discerning His Will for our lives, worship, and prayer. Christian writer Jerry Bellott explains how God reaches out to each of us inviting us to be in a personal relationship with him. The book includes a prayer for salvation.
The book is intended to help readers come to know Jesus Christ. It is also intended to help existing believers increase their knowledge of Christianity, grow their faith, and learn new spiritual disciplines to help them improve their relationship with God and the members of the Holy Trinity. The book also has biblical teachings on improving relationships with the significant others in one’s life. The book teaches how God’s blessings and abundance flow directly from His good and pleasing Will for mankind.
The book is evangelical. It is non-denominational. It uses the authority of scriptures to teach the subjects it covers. This is an excellent book for group Bible studies.
One of the unique aspects of the book is a discussion of how God has blessed humans to create the modern world as they use the resources of creation righteously in God’s Will. The book provides a faith perspective on Creation intended to inform and inspire the reader to understand the truths about Creation contained in Genesis 1.
Jesus said in John 10:10: "I came that you may have life, and may have it abundantly."

About “Faith in Genesis 1”
Many believe that the earth and the universe were created about 6000 years ago per the book of Genesis in the Christian bible. Why was the earth given an old-age appearance on a geological timeline spanning back to the distant past during the week of creation? What advantages does this provide?
Jerry Bellott, a former Bell Labs R&D engineer and evangelistic writer observes in his book “Faith in Genesis 1” that God designed the earth and the universe with an old-age appearance on a geological timeline because of the multitude of blessings available by doing it that way. This book presents many of the amazing blessings of geology, physics, and chemistry of the young earth as created with a geological timeline.
For example, we can predict how our planet will continue to age into the future with continuity by studying its past. We have been able to learn the laws of science as on display in a geological timeframe.
To the extent that humans use creation resources righteously, the modern world arriving today meets God’s plan. The author calls this phenomenon “Future Fit” – humans fit the intent of God’s Will by using resources righteously… and the future arrives.
Jerry Bellott notes that God created us to live in the past, present, and future. Thus, there is no gap in our intelligence needed for life in today’s modern world. We need only be wise people of faith.

Our omnipotent God created the world as it is recently according to the Bible. This article explains the intentional blessings of a “world in progress,” among them the ability to study the intentionally created past to understand the laws of science and how the earth will age into the future. This short essay summarizes the thesis of the book, “Faith in Genesis 1,” by Jerry Bellott, MSEE
“We were created to live in the past, present, and future. We need only be wise people of faith.” Secular concepts such as “Future Shock” and our incompatibility with the future are a myth.
